Our Terms
Please read these Terms of Business carefully. I try to keep them as simple as possible and they are here to try and ensure safe and problem free transactions between us and you our customers. Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights. I will be updating these as and when issues are raised and best practice is developed. If you think I provide a good service then tell people, if you think I provide a bad service then tell me and we will work it out.
1. Firearms and Ammunition
1.1 Section 1 Firearms and ammunition will only be sold on a face to
face basis to customers in possession of a current Firearms Certificate
with the appropriate permissions.
1.2 Viewing is by appointment only.
1.3 For a fee of £25.00 I am happy to send any firearm(s) to your RFD
for examination on the understanding that you will be responsible for
any charges that your RFD my make for providing the service and
returning the firearm to me if it does not meet your requirements.
1.4 Sales of edged weapons, air weapons, de-activated firearms and
munitions will not be made to anyone under the age of 18 years.
1.5 Reloading components and equipment will only be sold to holders of a
current Firearms Certificate which they have made available for me to
see.
2. Guarantee
2.1 I try to describe all not new items as accurately as possible
and using photographs provide a clear view of the item and its
condition. However if a customer is not satisfied in any way with the
item or items received I offer a guarantee that the item or items can be
returned for a full refund within 7 days.
2.2 This guarantee does not extend to new items which will only be
replaced if found to be defective, have been used in accordance with the
manufacturers instructions and are returned within seven days in the
original packaging.
2.3 In relation to Section 1 second hand firearms I can provide no
guarantee as to their functionality or accuracy with live ammunition
other than ensuring that they are in proof. I describe as honestly as I
can but do not test fire my stock as a matter of practice, consequently
firearms are sold as seen.
2.4 I make every effort to keep my website up to date however it is
possible that an item offered for sale may have been sold or become
unavailable before I have updated the site. In this case I will advise
you accordingly and return any payment made.
2.5 I must be informed by post, fax or email of any item that is to be
returned as soon as possible after it has been received. In the case of
U.K. based customers returns must be made within 7 days of receipt of
the order. European based customers within 10 days of receipt of the
order. Customers from all other countries within 14 days of receipt of
the order.
2.6 All funds paid by the customer with the exception of postage costs
will be refunded. All items returned must be in the same condition as it
was sent to you. If there is any damage, alteration, disassembly,
tampering or in the case of Section 1 the firearm being fired then
Pukka Bundhooks reserves the right not to refund payment.
2.7 Stock levels on items can vary, if an item is out of stock at the
time of your order I will notify you as soon as possible and if I cannot
supply you with the item in a time scale agreeable to you I will fully
refund you the money you have paid for that item with the exception of
postage costs if part of a multiple item order.
3. Payments
3.1 I accept personal cheques, postal orders, international money
orders or bank transfers all payable in Sterling, I do not accept
foreign currencies, payment should be made to Pukka Bundhooks. I also
accept Sterling cash payments, if not paid face to face then cash should
be sent by recorded or special delivery to my business address.
3.2 Business address for payments only is: Pukka Bundhooks, 20 Durham Pl, Chester Le Street, DH3 2AY, UK.
3.3 Paypal invoices can also be used for specific goods, not firearms,
deactivated weapons, munitions and components because of Paypal
restrictions. Due to the commission charges levied by Paypal a 5% charge
will be added payable at the time of the transaction payment
3.4 Overseas customers can also pay with a Sterling International Money
Order (obtainable from any Bank), but please add £20 to cover UK bank
charges.
3.5 Payment is due within seven days (United Kingdom), 14 days (for
overseas) from the time of placing an order. (Unless an order is subject
to a previously agreed lay-away plan). After this time items will be
returned for general sale.
3.6 Please allow 10 days for bank clearance on your remittance before dispatch is effected.
4. Postage & Shipping
4.1 No goods will be dispatched until full payment including postage has been received.
4.2 Postage is at cost and is calculated at Royal Mail rates. Long arms are sent TNT.
4.3 Most of the prices on this website include postage within the UK
however where postage is not included or ordering from abroad please ask
for a quote before ordering
4.4 Pukka Bundhooks can take no responsibility for un-insured damage,
loss in transit or breakages which occur once goods have been
dispatched. I take every care to pack items safely for posting. I always
obtain proof of postage and where possible using recorded delivery in
the UK, International signed for elsewhere or special delivery. Once the
item is posted I have no control over the carrier and their methods.
However I can prove that items have been sent. Enquire about additional
insurance if you require it.
4.5 I will send any item offered for sale world – wide subject to any
legal restrictions that may exist in the country of destination and UK
export restrictions. Purchasers must confirm that the items ordered can
legally be imported and possessed in the country to which they are being
sent and check with me that they are exportable.
5. Lay Away and Reserved Goods
5.1 I am always happy to consider reserving goods or providing a Lay Away plan for customers. Such an agreement would be subject to a 20% non returnable deposit, goods may be reserved and paid for on a mutually agreed time scale. Default on payment will result in the return of payments made less the initial deposit. Any such agreement is fully at my discretion and I can refuse this facility without explanation.
